Zovirax Cold Sore 5% Cream 2g Tube is an antiviral treatment designed to help treat cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). Containing aciclovir 5% w/w, Zovirax works by preventing the virus from multiplying, helping cold sores heal faster and reducing the duration of outbreaks when used as directed.

Cold sores commonly develop on or around the lips and may begin with tingling, itching or a burning sensation before small, painful blisters appear. Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is most effective when applied at the first signs of an outbreak, helping to manage symptoms and support the healing process.

How to use this product

How to Use:

1. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after application.

2. Apply the cream liberally to completely cover the cold sore and surrounding area.

3. Use five times a day, approximately every 4 hours for five days.

4. Begin treatment as soon as you feel the first signs of a cold sore, such as tingling or itching.

5. If the cold sore has not healed after five days, treatment may be extended up to 10 days.

Important Information:

• For external use only.

• Avoid contact with eyes.

• Do not use if you are allergic to Aciclovir or any of the cream's ingredients.

• Not recommended for children under 12 years unless advised by a doctor.

• Consult your doctor or pharmacist if symptoms persist beyond 10 days.

Returns Policy

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
