Zovirax Cold Sore 5% w/w Cream Pump 2g is an antiviral treatment designed to help treat cold sores caused by the herpes simplex virus (HSV). Containing aciclovir 5% w/w, Zovirax works by preventing the virus from multiplying, helping to speed up the healing process and reduce the duration of cold sore symptoms.

Cold sores commonly appear around the lips and mouth and may cause tingling, itching, redness and painful blisters. Zovirax Cold Sore Cream is most effective when applied at the first signs of an outbreak, such as tingling or itching, before a blister develops.

The convenient 2g pump dispenser allows for easy, hygienic application, making it a practical treatment to keep on hand whenever cold sore symptoms appear.

How to use this product

Directions for Use:

1. Wash your hands before and after application to prevent the spread of infection.

2. Apply the cream liberally to completely cover the affected area, including the surrounding skin.

3. Use five times a day, approximately every 4 hours, for five days.

4. If the cold sore has not healed, treatment may be continued for up to 10 days.

5. Start using Zovirax at the first sign of a cold sore (tingling or itching).

Precautions:

• For external use only.

• Avoid contact with the eyes.

• Do not use if you are allergic to Aciclovir or any other ingredients in the cream.

• Not recommended for children under 12 years without medical advice.

• If symptoms persist after 10 days, consult your doctor or pharmacist.

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
