Hibiwash 4% w/v Cutaneous Solution is an antimicrobial skin cleanser containing chlorhexidine gluconate 4% w/v (40mg/ml). Designed for effective cleansing and disinfection of the skin, Hibiwash is suitable for antiseptic handwashing and for pre- and post-operative skin antisepsis when used as directed.

Hibiwash is widely used in healthcare and hygiene-sensitive environments. Its chlorhexidine-based formulation provides broad antimicrobial activity while the inclusion of emollients helps care for the skin during use. The current formulation is free from added colour, fragrance and soya oil.

How to use this product

Always use Hibiwash exactly as directed in the patient information leaflet or by your doctor, pharmacist or nurse.

For antiseptic handwashing, wet the hands and forearms, apply the recommended amount of Hibiwash, wash thoroughly and rinse well with water. Specific directions apply when Hibiwash is being used for surgical hand disinfection or pre- and post-operative skin cleansing.

Important Information

For external use only. Avoid contact with the eyes, ears and other sensitive areas. Do not use if you are allergic to chlorhexidine or any of the other ingredients. Always read the patient information leaflet carefully before use and speak to your pharmacist or healthcare professional if you require further advice.

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
