Calpol Infant 120mg/5ml Oral Suspension is a paracetamol-based medicine specially formulated to relieve pain and reduce fever in babies and children. Each 5ml contains 120mg of paracetamol.

Calpol Infant Oral Suspension can help relieve mild to moderate pain associated with common childhood conditions, including teething pain, toothache, headache and sore throat. It can also help reduce fever associated with colds, flu and other childhood illnesses.

For babies aged 2 months and over, Calpol Infant may also be used to relieve post-immunisation fever, when given according to the specific dosing instructions provided.

How to use this product

Shake the bottle well before use and carefully measure each dose using the dosing device supplied.

For babies aged 2–3 months, specific restrictions and dosing instructions apply. Only give this medicine if your baby weighs more than 4kg and was born after 37 weeks. Always follow the instructions in the patient information leaflet.

For children aged 3 months and over, the appropriate dose varies according to age. Follow the dosage table provided on the packaging and in the patient information leaflet.

Leave at least 4 hours between doses and do not exceed the recommended number of doses within 24 hours.

Important Information
Contains paracetamol. Do not give with any other paracetamol-containing products.

Do not exceed the stated dose. Taking too much paracetamol can cause serious liver damage.

Do not give to babies under 2 months. If symptoms persist, worsen or your child requires treatment for longer than recommended, consult a doctor or pharmacist.

Always read the label and patient information leaflet before use. Keep out of the sight and reach of children.

All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
