Vitabiotics Pregnacare Plus – 28 Tablets + 28 Capsules is a comprehensive prenatal supplement combining the trusted Pregnacare multivitamin and mineral formula with a high-purity Omega-3 DHA capsule.

Specially formulated to support the nutritional needs of mother and baby throughout pregnancy, each daily serving provides one micronutrient tablet plus one Omega-3 capsule.

The multivitamin tablet provides 400 µg folic acid, which contributes to maternal tissue growth during pregnancy and has a role in the process of cell division. Supplemental folic acid intake increases maternal folate status, with low maternal folate status recognised as a risk factor in the development of neural tube defects in the developing foetus.

Pregnacare Plus also provides 10 µg (400 IU) vitamin D3, together with iron, zinc, iodine, magnesium and essential B vitamins.

The accompanying high-purity Omega-3 fish oil capsule provides 300 mg DHA and 60 mg EPA. Maternal intake of DHA contributes to the normal brain and eye development of the foetus when the beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 200 mg DHA in addition to the recommended daily intake of 250 mg DHA and EPA for adults.

The formula contains beta-carotene rather than preformed vitamin A (retinol) and the Omega-3 fish oil is certified free from vitamin A, making the formulation suitable for use throughout pregnancy when taken as directed.

How to use this product

Take one tablet (green blister) plus one Omega-3 capsule (pink blister) per day with your main meal.

Swallow both with water or a cold drink. Do not chew.

Pregnacare Plus should be taken only on a full stomach and with plenty of liquid.

Do not exceed the recommended daily intake.

Pregnacare Plus replaces your usual daily multivitamin, so there is no need to take an additional multivitamin supplement.

Your doctor may recommend additional iron after the 13th week of pregnancy if required.

Returns Policy

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.
