For oral use only.
Adults, including the elderly, and children aged 12 years and over: Take 2–4 tablets at night with water.
Do not give to children under 12 years of age.
Do not exceed the recommended dose. Use the lowest dose necessary to produce a comfortable bowel movement.
Senokot is intended for short-term use. If constipation persists, symptoms worsen or you need to use laxatives regularly, speak to your doctor or pharmacist.
Important Information
Senokot is intended for the short-term relief of occasional constipation. Prolonged or excessive use of stimulant laxatives should be avoided.
Do not take Senokot if you have a blockage or narrowing of the gastrointestinal tract, certain inflammatory bowel conditions, severe dehydration or unexplained abdominal symptoms.
Senokot contains lactose. If you have been told by your doctor that you have an intolerance to some sugars, seek medical advice before taking this medicine.
