Each drug has its own test strip and the result for each strip should be read individually.
A coloured line should appear beside the Control (C) indicator. This confirms that the individual test strip has worked correctly.
Negative Result:
A second coloured line appears beside the Test (T) indicator. A faint test line should also be interpreted as a negative result in accordance with the instructions supplied.
Positive Screening Result:
If the Control (C) line appears but no Test (T) line is visible, this indicates a positive screening result for that drug group.
Invalid Result:
If the Control (C) line does not appear, the test has not worked correctly and a further test may be required.
