The PharmaCare Hydrocolloid Dressing With Border is designed to provide comfortable protection for non-infected, low to mildly exuding wounds. The hydrocolloid material absorbs wound fluid and forms a gel, helping to maintain a moist wound-healing environment.

Featuring a thin adhesive border, the dressing helps provide secure and comfortable coverage of the affected area. The dressing can also be cut to a suitable size when required and is designed for easy removal.

Suitable for a range of wounds, including minor burns, pressure ulcers, blisters, cuts and scrapes, these larger 10 x 10cm dressings are a practical addition to home and professional first aid supplies.

How to use this product

1. Clean the wound and ensure the surrounding skin is clean and dry.

2. Remove the dressing from its packaging.

3. Choose a dressing that extends approximately 2cm beyond the wound area for optimal coverage.

4. Apply carefully, ensuring the adhesive border is securely attached to the surrounding skin.

5. Keep pressure or weight off the dressing for approximately 20 minutes after application to help ensure good adhesion.

6. Where appropriate, leave the dressing in place for a minimum of 48–72 hours.

7. Change the dressing if it becomes white and swollen or if there are signs of leakage.

8. Moisten the wound area when removing the dressing to allow for smoother removal.

Important Information:

For single use only.

Do not use on infected wounds unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Monitor the wound regularly and change the dressing if it becomes saturated, swollen or begins to leak.

Seek medical advice if you notice signs of infection, such as increasing redness, swelling, warmth, discharge or worsening pain.

Always read and follow the instructions supplied with the product.

Returns Policy

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
