Nurofen for Children 3 Months Plus Orange 100mg/5ml Oral Suspension 100ml is a fast-acting ibuprofen liquid medicine designed to relieve fever, pain, and inflammation in babies and children from 3 months old (over 5kg).

It is commonly used to help ease symptoms such as teething pain, earache, sore throat, headaches, cold & flu symptoms, and minor aches and pains, while also helping to reduce fever. The orange-flavoured suspension makes it easier to administer, and the liquid format allows for accurate, weight-based dosing.

This medicine typically starts working within around 15 minutes and can provide relief for up to 8 hours, helping children stay more comfortable day and night.

How to use this product

Always follow the patient leaflet or pharmacist guidance.

Typical dosing:

• 3–6 months: 2.5ml up to 3 times daily
• 6–12 months: 2.5ml up to 3–4 times daily
• 1–3 years: 5ml up to 3 times daily
• 4–6 years: 7.5ml up to 3 times daily
• 7–9 years: 10ml up to 3 times daily
• 10–12 years: 15ml up to 3 times daily

Leave at least 6–8 hours between doses. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose.

• Not suitable for babies under 3 months or under 5kg
• Short-term use only unless advised by a healthcare professional
