Nexium Control 20mg is used for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms, including heartburn and acid regurgitation, in adults. It contains esomeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by reducing the amount of acid produced by the stomach.

Nexium Control is not intended to provide immediate relief. It may be necessary to take the medicine for 2–3 consecutive days before symptoms improve.

How to use this product

Adults aged 18 years and over should take one 20mg capsule once daily.

Do not take more than the recommended dose of one capsule per day. You should stop taking Nexium Control when your reflux symptoms have completely resolved. Do not take this medicine for more than 14 days continuously without consulting a doctor.

Warnings & Precautions
Nexium Control is for adults aged 18 years and over. Do not take it if you are allergic to esomeprazole, other proton pump inhibitors, or any of the other ingredients.

Speak to your doctor or pharmacist before use if you have severe or persistent symptoms, unexplained weight loss, difficulty swallowing, repeated vomiting, vomiting blood or passing black stools, or if you are taking other medicines.

If your symptoms do not improve or become worse while taking Nexium Control, seek medical advice.

Always read the patient information leaflet carefully before use and take this medicine exactly as directed.

Each gastro-resistant tablets contains 20mg esomeprazole (as magnesium trihydrate).

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
