Product Description:

Imodium Plus Loperamide Tablets provide effective treatment for sudden, short-lived attacks of diarrhoea, particularly when it occurs with stomach cramps, bloating, and wind. The tablets combine loperamide hydrochloride, which helps to reduce diarrhoea by slowing down an overactive bowel, with simethicone, which works to break up the gas bubbles in the bowel that cause discomfort, cramps, and bloating.

How to use this product

Dosage Instructions:

• For Adolescents (12-18 years):

  • Initial dose: 1 tablet at the onset of diarrhoea.

  • Subsequent doses: 1 tablet after every further loose bowel movement.

  • Maximum dose: Do not exceed 4 tablets in any 24-hour period.

• For Adults (18 years and over):

  • Initial dose: 2 tablets at the onset of diarrhoea.

  • Subsequent doses: 1 tablet after every further loose bowel movement.

  • Maximum dose: Do not exceed 4 tablets in any 24-hour period.

Important Information:

• Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: If you are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before using Imodium Plus. Do not use if breastfeeding.

• Driving and Using Machinery: This medication may cause dizziness, tiredness, or sleepiness. If affected, avoid driving or operating machinery.

• Oral Rehydration Therapy: It is recommended to use Imodium Plus in conjunction with oral rehydration therapy to replenish fluids and electrolytes lost due to diarrhoea.

Common Side Effects:

• Headache

• Nausea

• A change in the taste of some foods or drinks

Precautions:

• Consult Your Doctor: Before taking Imodium Plus if you are taking any other medications, have any medical conditions, or are pregnant or breastfeeding.

Returns Policy

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
