Emazole Control 20mg Gastro-Resistant Tablets are used for the short-term treatment of reflux symptoms, including heartburn and acid regurgitation, in adults aged 18 years and over.

Each gastro-resistant tablet contains 20mg esomeprazole, a medicine belonging to a group called proton pump inhibitors (PPIs). Esomeprazole works by reducing the amount of acid produced by the stomach, helping to relieve the uncomfortable symptoms associated with acid reflux.

Reflux occurs when acid from the stomach flows back into the oesophagus (food pipe), which can cause symptoms such as a burning or painful sensation in the chest rising towards the throat (heartburn) and a sour taste in the mouth (acid regurgitation).

Emazole Control is not intended to provide immediate relief. You may need to take the tablets for 2–3 consecutive days before you start to feel better.

How to use this product

For adults aged 18 years and over:

Take 1 tablet (20mg) once daily.

Do not take more than 1 tablet per day.

Swallow the tablet whole with half a glass of water. Do not chew or crush the tablet.

The tablet can be taken with food or on an empty stomach.

You may need to take the medicine for 2–3 days in a row before your symptoms improve.

Once your symptoms have completely gone, you should stop taking Emazole Control.

Do not take this medicine for more than 14 days without consulting your doctor. If you do not feel better or if you feel worse after 14 days, speak to your doctor.

All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.
