Dioralyte Blackcurrant is an oral rehydration treatment designed to replace water and essential body salts lost through diarrhoea, helping to correct fluid and electrolyte loss and support effective rehydration.

Each sachet contains a carefully balanced combination of glucose and electrolytes, including sodium and potassium. When dissolved in water, Dioralyte helps replace the important fluids and salts lost during episodes of watery diarrhoea.

With a pleasant blackcurrant flavour, Dioralyte is suitable for adults and children. The convenient individual sachets are easy to prepare at home or while travelling, with each sachet dissolved in exactly 200ml of water.

How to use this product

Adults, including the elderly:
Take 1 or 2 sachets after every loose stool, with each sachet dissolved separately in 200ml of water.

Children over 24 months:
Give 1 sachet after every loose stool.

Infants under 24 months:
Use only under medical advice. One to one-and-a-half times the usual 24-hour feed volume may be given as Dioralyte solution, as directed by a healthcare professional.

If vomiting accompanies diarrhoea, take or give the prepared solution in small, frequent amounts.

If diarrhoea persists for longer than 24–36 hours, seek medical advice.

Do not exceed 14 sachets in 24 hours.

Do not use for longer than 5 days.

Active Ingredients

Each sachet contains:

• Sodium Chloride – 0.47g
• Potassium Chloride – 0.30g
• Glucose – 3.56g
• Disodium Hydrogen Citrate – 0.53g

Each sachet contains approximately 278.6mg sodium.

Other ingredients include Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Saccharin Sodium and Blackcurrant Flavour.

Blackcurrant flavour contains a small amount of ethanol (alcohol), less than 100mg per dose.

Returns Policy

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
