Dermal Exterol 5% w/w Ear Drops – 8ml are medicated ear drops designed to help soften and remove hardened earwax from the ear canal.

Containing urea hydrogen peroxide 5% w/w, Exterol works by releasing oxygen within the earwax, helping to break it down into smaller pieces and soften it so that it can be removed more easily.

The convenient dropper bottle allows the solution to be applied directly into the affected ear, making Exterol a practical treatment for troublesome or hardened earwax.

How to use this product

Tilt your head so the affected ear is facing upwards. Apply up to 5 drops of Dermal Exterol 5% w/w Ear Drops into the ear canal.

Keep your head tilted for a few minutes to allow the drops to work. A temporary bubbling sensation may occur as the drops break down the earwax.

Use once or twice daily for 3–4 days, or as directed in the patient information leaflet.

Do not insert cotton buds or other objects into the ear canal. Do not use if you have a perforated eardrum, ear infection, discharge or significant ear pain, or following ear surgery unless advised by a healthcare professional.

Returns Policy

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
