Corsodyl 1% Dental Gel contains chlorhexidine digluconate, an antibacterial ingredient used to help treat and prevent gum problems. It helps control plaque bacteria and can be used in the treatment of gingivitis, where gums may become red, swollen or bleed during brushing.

Corsodyl Dental Gel can also be used to help maintain oral hygiene in certain situations where normal toothbrushing may be difficult. Its gel formulation allows it to be applied directly to the teeth and gums as directed.

How to use this product

Use Corsodyl 1% Dental Gel exactly as directed on the packaging or patient information leaflet. For gum problems, the gel may be used for brushing the teeth or applied directly to the affected area, depending on the intended use.

Important Information

Always read the label and patient information leaflet before use. Do not swallow. Chlorhexidine products can cause temporary staining of the teeth and tongue and may temporarily alter taste. Avoid using at the same time as ordinary toothpaste, as some toothpaste ingredients can reduce the effectiveness of chlorhexidine. If symptoms persist or you experience irritation, swelling or other unexpected effects, stop using the product and seek advice from your dentist, pharmacist or doctor.

Returns Policy

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
