Canesten Combi Pessary & Cream Clotrimazole is a treatment for thrush. Thrush can be a painful condition; it is caused by an excessive amount of Candida albicans (yeast) located in the genital area. Canesten Thrush Combi is a complete treatment for vaginal thrush; it does so by treating both the external symptoms and the internal condition.  Clotrimazole is the active ingredient used in Canesten Thrush combi to effectively aid the treatment of vaginal thrush available exclusively from PharmaDirect.ie.

How to use this product

This Canesten product supplied by PharmaDirect.ie contains a full course of treatment which will treat the causes of vaginal thrush. The pack contains a single pessary for internal use and a tube of double strength cream to ease the external thrush symptoms. 

Clean hands before use. You should insert the pessary as high as possible into the vagina, the provided applicator will help you with this. It may be best to insert before bed and it is advised to wear underwear when doing so.  The double strength cream should be applied in a thin layer with clean hands to the affected area. This can be applied between 2-3 times a day for effective use. Use cream until the symptoms of thrush withdraw.

PharmaDirect.ie medical professionals advise to contact your doctor if the condition does not improve after seven days of use. You should also consult your doctor if you have had more than two thrush infections within the last six months.

Active Ingredients

The pessary contains Clotimazole 500 mg. It also contains latose monohydrate, microcrystalline cellulose, lactic acid, maize starch, crospovidone, calcium lactate pentahydrate, magnesium stearate, silica, colloidal anhydrous and hypromellose.

One 10g tube of cream contains Clotrimazoe 200mg (2% w/w). It also contains sorbitan stearate, polysorbate 60, cetyl palmitate, cetostearyl alcohol, octyldodecanol, benzyl alcohol and purified water.

Returns Policy

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
