Bonjela Gel is a fast-acting, soothing gel designed to provide relief from pain and discomfort caused by mouth ulcers, cold sores, teething, and sore spots caused by dentures or orthodontic devices. The gel contains choline salicylate, a painkiller and anti-inflammatory that helps reduce inflammation and soothe sore areas in the mouth, as well as cetalkonium chloride, an antiseptic that kills bacteria and helps prevent infection.

How It Works:

Bonjela Gel works by creating a protective barrier on the sore areas inside the mouth and gums. This gel quickly numbs the discomfort while also providing anti-inflammatory and antiseptic benefits to promote faster healing and reduce pain.

How to use this product

Usage Instructions:

For Children (4 months and older):

• Apply a small amount of gel to the affected area, using a clean finger.

• Do not apply more than once every 3 hours.

• Do not exceed six applications in 24 hours.

For Adults:

• Apply approximately 1 cm of gel to the affected area.

• Reapply no more than once every 3 hours.

For Sore Spots from Orthodontic Devices or Dentures:

• Apply gel to the sore area as directed above, not more than once every 3 hours.

• Leave at least 30 minutes before reinserting dentures.

Warnings & Precautions:

• Do not use Bonjela for more than 7 days if symptoms do not improve—consult a doctor if the discomfort persists.

• Avoid overuse: If you accidentally use more gel than recommended, contact your doctor.

• Consult a doctor before use if you are taking other medications or have any health conditions.

• For oral use only: Keep out of reach of children.

Storage & Handling:

• Check the cap seal is unbroken before first use.

• Store at room temperature.

• Keep out of reach of children.

Returns Policy

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
