Avène Cicalfate Hand Cream is a restorative, protective and moisturising hand cream specially formulated for very dry, chapped, cracked and irritated hands. Its rich yet fast-absorbing texture helps nourish damaged-feeling skin while forming a protective, water-resistant veil over the hands.

Ideal for hands exposed to frequent washing, hand sanitiser, cold weather and other everyday external aggressors, the formula helps replenish the skin barrier and soothe feelings of tightness and irritation.

Enriched with Avène Thermal Spring Water, the cream helps soothe and comfort sensitive skin, while Sucralfate supports epidermal restoration. A combination of Copper and Zinc Sulfates helps maintain a healthy skin environment and limit the risk of bacterial proliferation.

The non-sticky, fragrance-free formula creates a comfortable “second-skin” protective finish and is water-resistant, making it particularly convenient for regular use throughout the day.

How to use this product

Apply at least twice daily, or more frequently as required.

1. Apply a small amount of Cicalfate Hand Cream to clean, dry hands.
2. Gently massage over the entire surface of the hands.
3. Concentrate particularly on very dry, chapped or cracked areas.
4. Reapply after hand washing whenever additional protection and comfort are required.
5. Apply before bedtime for additional overnight moisturising care.

Sucralfate (Aluminum Sucrose Octasulfate): Helps support epidermal restoration and the recovery of very dry, irritated skin.

Copper & Zinc Sulfates: Help maintain a healthy skin environment and limit the risk of bacterial proliferation.

Avène Thermal Spring Water: Naturally soothing and softening, helping calm feelings of irritation and discomfort.

Glycerin: Helps attract and retain moisture to support skin hydration.

Mineral Oil & Beeswax: Emollient ingredients that help nourish the skin and reinforce the protective barrier.

Returns Policy

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
