Acnecide Gel 5% is a medicated leave-on treatment for acne, formulated to help manage spots, blackheads and whiteheads on the face, chest and back.

Containing 5% benzoyl peroxide, Acnecide works against bacteria associated with acne while helping to unblock pores and reduce excess oil on acne-prone skin. The formulation also contains glycerol and microsphere technology, which helps absorb excess oil while releasing glycerol to help soothe and hydrate the skin.

The gel is applied directly to clean, dry affected areas and left on the skin. It can be used once or twice daily depending on skin tolerance, while people with sensitive skin should begin with once-daily application.

How to use this product

1. Wash the affected area with a mild cleanser and water.
2. Gently pat the skin dry.
3. Apply Acnecide Gel in a thin layer over the affected areas.
4. Use once or twice daily, or as directed by your doctor or pharmacist.
5. If you have sensitive skin, apply the gel once daily before bedtime.
6. Wash your hands thoroughly after application.

Dryness and peeling can occur during treatment. The frequency of application may need to be reduced according to how your skin responds.

If there is no improvement within 4 weeks, stop using the product and consult your doctor.

A single course of treatment should not exceed 3 months.

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
