Gaviscon Peppermint Chewable Tablets bring relief from the pain and discomfort of heartburn and indigestion, which for example, can occur after meals or during pregnancy. This product belongs to a group of medicines called 'reflux suppressants', which form a protective layer on top of the stomach contents to prevent stomach acid escaping from the stomach where it works into the food pipe causing pain and discomfort.

Active Ingredients

Dosage: For oral administration. Chew thoroughly before swallowing.

Adults, including the elderly and children 12 years and over: When symptoms occur take two to four tablets after meals and at bedtime, up to four times a day.

Children under 12 years: Should only be given on medical advice.

If symptoms persist after 7 days consult your doctor. High in sodium - see leaflet for further details Contains calcium. If you have been advised to follow a diet restricted in either of these salts, please consult your doctor before taking this product. Contains aspartame (E951).

If you have phenylketonuria, note that this product is sweetened with aspartame (E951), a source of phenylalanine. Medicines should not be disposed of via wastewater or household waste. Ask your pharmacist how to dispose of medicines no longer required. These measures will help to protect the environment. Read the package leaflet before use.

Pharmadirect.ie are happy to accept unwanted goods that are unopened and unused within 14 days from date of delivery to our offices at 34 Main Street, Killarney, Co. Kerry, V93 XW63. All unwanted returns must be returned unused, in original packaging with your order sheet / number & name clearly displayed. 

Once goods are received, funds will be returned automatically if goods meet our required criteria. This will be confirmed by a member of our customer service team to you by phone or email.

For orders from the Island of Ireland over €60 with free shipping - €5.95 will be deducted from the amount refunded in order to cover shipping costs. For orders from outside the Island of Ireland over €150.00 the relevant shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.

In the unlikely event that your goods are faulty or have been damaged in transit, Pharmadirect.ie will provide a replacement. Please contact us. within 48 hours of delivery to report any issues.

Please note that items that are used and opened will not be replaced and no refund will be issued.
